The agreement
These terms are between Built Logic Ltd, trading as AFTB, and the business buying the membership. Built Logic Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 17273424. Its registered office is 22-24 Berners Street, London, England, W1T 3LP.
By placing an order or using the membership, you agree to these terms on behalf of the named business. If you use the website without buying, the provisions about permitted use, AFTB materials, liability and law apply to that use. The order page, checkout summary and any written variation we agree with you also form part of the contract.
Business use only
AFTB membership is offered only for business or professional use. You must be at least 18 and have authority to bind the business named at checkout.
If you are acting wholly or mainly outside your trade, business, craft or profession, do not buy through the business checkout. Contact hello@aftb.ai before ordering. Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights that apply by law.
Joining and access
Your order is an offer to buy the membership. Successful payment confirmation at the AFTB checkout is our acceptance and starts the contract. We will then send the order and access details in writing. We may make checkout unavailable before acceptance where the offer is full, the intended use falls outside AFTB's scope or there is a legal or security concern.
Access is for the named member unless the checkout states otherwise. Keep account and joining details secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
What membership includes
AFTB membership includes the training, workflows, templates, community access and weekly live sessions described on the sales page or checkout when you join. Access instructions and the current session schedule will be sent to the email address used at checkout.
Membership is group education and implementation support. It is not a managed service, professional advice or a promise that AFTB will build or operate systems for your business.
Price and recurring payment
The founding membership is £99 plus VAT per month and is limited to 30 places. The standard membership price is £199 plus VAT per month.
Stripe takes the first payment at checkout and then charges the payment method monthly on or around the same calendar date until cancellation. You authorise those recurring charges. We will show the price, VAT treatment and billing frequency before you order.
A founding member keeps the founding price while the membership remains continuously active. If it ends and the member later rejoins, the price available at that time applies. Keep billing and contact details current.
Cancellation
There is no fixed minimum term. You can cancel at any time through the cancellation route supplied with your membership or by emailing hello@aftb.ai.
Cancellation stops the next renewal. Access continues until the end of the paid billing period unless we agree otherwise. We will confirm cancellation in writing. If a payment is taken after an effective cancellation because of our error, tell us and we will correct it.
Missed sessions and refunds
Live sessions are part of the continuing membership rather than separate appointments. A missed session does not pause the membership or move the billing date.
A founding member may claim a refund of the membership fees for the first 91 days from paid access start if all of the following are true. Day 1 is the day paid access starts.
- You stay continuously subscribed for those 91 days.
- You complete every module in The First 91 that is marked as required and was published in the member area at least 14 days before the end of your 91 days. AFTB publishes The First 91 one week at a time and will keep at least the next two weeks available ahead of you.
- You join at least four weekly AFTB Live sessions during those 91 days, using the joining route AFTB supplies.
- You email hello@aftb.ai within 14 days after day 91.
If AFTB cancels a scheduled session, that cancellation does not count against you. If AFTB runs fewer than four weekly sessions in those 91 days, joining every session AFTB runs meets the attendance test.
The refund is the membership fees for that 91-day period. A payment that covers a period after day 91 is not part of the refund.
This is not a results promise. If you join and do not complete that work, this clause does not give a refund. If you cancel before day 91, this clause does not apply. Asking for a refund does not cancel membership. Cancel separately if you do not want the next payment.
This clause applies to paid founding membership only. Complimentary pilot access carries no refund because no fee is paid.
This clause does not exclude a remedy for a service we fail to provide with reasonable care and skill.
Member responsibilities
You are responsible for the information, instructions and decisions used in your business. Check facts, figures, prices, dates, technical details, commitments and recipients before using an AI-prepared output.
Do not submit information you are not authorised to use. Remove unnecessary personal data, customer records, site addresses, access details, rates and confidential documents before sharing an example.
Do not interfere with the website or member services, bypass access controls, introduce harmful code, scrape content or attempt unauthorised access.
Community rules
Treat members and AFTB staff professionally. Do not post unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, misleading, infringing or confidential material. Do not scrape member details, share access, send repeated unsolicited messages or use the community primarily to sell unrelated services.
A shared community is not a confidential advisory room. Only disclose information you are authorised and willing to share with its members. Report a concern to hello@aftb.ai.
Your content
You keep ownership of information and material you submit. You give Built Logic Ltd a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, display and process it only as needed to provide, secure and administer AFTB. The licence ends when the content is deleted from active systems, subject to reasonable backups and legal retention.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit that content. We will not publish a member example, testimonial or result outside the membership without separate permission.
AFTB materials
Built Logic Ltd or its licensors own the AFTB website, branding, recordings, training, templates and workflow library. During active membership, the named member receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use those materials inside the named business.
You must not resell, publish, copy for another organisation, share account access, remove ownership notices or distribute the materials outside the named business without written permission.
AI and professional decisions
AFTB shows members how to use AI to prepare work. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable. The member remains responsible for reviewing and adapting every output before use.
AFTB does not make pricing, technical, design, safety, regulatory, contractual, tax, employment, insurance or legal decisions for members. Obtain qualified advice where the decision requires it.
Sessions and recordings
We may change facilitators, session subjects or reasonable scheduling details. If we cancel a scheduled session, we may rearrange it or provide a suitable replacement.
Members will be told before a session is recorded. The notice will explain the purpose, access and expected retention period. You may keep your camera and microphone off unless participation is necessary for that session.
Third-party services
AFTB may use third-party services for payment, email, community access, courses and live sessions. Those providers may require their own account or terms. We are responsible for selecting and administering our providers, but not for an outage or act outside our reasonable control.
Where a supplier issue materially affects the membership, we will take reasonable steps to restore access or provide an alternative.
Changes to the service or terms
Reasonable changes may be made to the format, schedule, providers, materials or these terms to operate, secure or improve AFTB, comply with law or reflect a service change.
Members will receive reasonable notice of a change that materially reduces the membership or changes their legal or payment obligations. A price increase will apply only after advance notice and will not change the founding price while the founding membership remains continuously active, unless the law or tax treatment requires otherwise.
Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended while we investigate failed payment, suspected misuse, a security risk or a breach of these terms. We may end access for a serious breach or a breach that is not corrected within a reasonable period after notice.
Immediate action may be taken where reasonably necessary to protect another person, the community, confidential information or the service. If we decide not to renew a membership for reasons unrelated to a member's breach, we will stop future billing and give reasonable notice where practicable.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Subject to that sentence, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Built Logic Ltd is not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, anticipated saving or data arising from a member's business decision or use of an unchecked AI output.
Subject to the exclusions above, Built Logic Ltd's total liability arising from the membership will not exceed the membership fees paid or payable for the membership period giving rise to the claim.
Events outside reasonable control
Neither party is responsible for delay or failure caused by an event outside its reasonable control. The affected party must take reasonable steps to reduce the effect and restart performance. Payment obligations already due are not excused.
General terms
You may not transfer the membership or this contract without our written consent. We may transfer the contract as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business, provided this does not reduce your rights.
If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the remaining terms continue. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive it. No person other than the parties has a right to enforce this contract under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
These terms, the accepted order and any written variation form the entire agreement. Nothing in this clause limits liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Law, complaints and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any rights that cannot lawfully be restricted.
Send questions, complaints, cancellations and formal notices to hello@aftb.ai. We will acknowledge a complaint and try to resolve it directly.
